After the basic decisions from Part 1 were made, I set about implementing it. First of all, review decisions.

I had deliberately chosen the expensive option: seven prints with different motifs, five on fine-style paper and two on canvas. With the prints I went to the framing workshop and discussed the possibilities together with the professionals and selected the respective frames. And ordered them.

While the prints were getting framed, I dedicated myself to subproject 2: the brochures. These should reflect the same four themes: Waterfalls, Chasing the Light, Landscape and Wildlife. The picture should always be in the main act, but I wanted to write a few words about the situation/place. For the beginning, I set out to take care of wildlife. Layout, image selection and texts, also the tool, everything was completely new again. But after many hours, there is a draft waiting for the final “Good to print”.

Next step: Subproject 3 – Homepage. Exactly, this homepage.
Although I am a little familiar with Joomla, I didn’t think Joomla was the right concept for the job at hand. So again back to the drawing board.

Relatively quickly, I’ve come up with two options: Squarespace and WordPress. Both have advantages and disadvantages and both are more than sufficient for my needs. In the end, I decided on the basis that my web hoster can integrate WordPress right away. And here we are!

Then there were the prints that were framed!

I am more than satisfied with the results. So I achieved my first goal.

Now I am looking forward to the next challenges and I thank you for your interest!
